Born and raised in the Blue Ridge area, Pastor Randy Barnett felt the call to preach as a teenager. He attended the Pentecostal Theological Seminary in Cleveland, TN, and graduated with a Master's of Divinity degree in 2008. He is an ordained minister and chaplain with the Church of God.

He has been pastoring locally for the last 11 years and has called Greer Church of God his home since March of 2024. Pastor Randy is passionate about experiencing the power and presence of God and sharing His life-changing word unashamedly with everyone who walks through the doors.

When he is not preaching or serving, he enjoys working out and attending all six of his kids' different athletic events and activities. Randy and his wife Katie have been married for 20 years.

Pastor Jamé earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2014 and obtained Credentials as a Minister of Christian Education in 2021.  She has served in various capacities since 2012.  She is a long-time singer, (previously only at home, until the Lord calmed her nerves) joining her first choir in 2012. She currently sings on the Praise Team here at Greer and is now excited to be serving as Youth Pastor!

Young people have been a passion her whole life and they are truly the reason she sought out an education in Psychology all those years ago -because who wouldn’t want to understand the mind and motivations of God’s favorite beings!

Her greatest desire is to lead people to find a personal relationship with Christ, equip them to do His will, and watch His plan unfold in their lives.

When she has free time, she enjoys short hikes to waterfalls, spending time with her family, and anything that involves immense laughter.

Pastor Joe received his calling into Kids Ministry in December of 1992 and began working with Kids in February of 1993. He has served in kids ministry in one way or another since that time. He joined the staff of Greer Church of God in July of 2025.

Pastor Joe brings years of experience to our kids' department. His greatest desire is to see kids grow in their walk with Christ. He loves to see kids step into their calling.

Outside of church, Pastor Joe loves to cook, play golf and spend time with his family.

Katie has been happily supporting her husband in ministry for the past 10 years. She has been teaching middle school science for 22 years and has been leading the praise and worship team for the last 6 months. When not teaching or at church, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and six kids!

Mrs Tracy is a valuable asset to the ministry of our Church and we are lucky to have her be a part of our team.
